What we gonna do?
Google Assistant is able to read bedtime stories when the command “Hey Google, tell me a bedtime story” is uttered. Storybook Soldiers is an organisation which allows parents who are in the army to record bedtime stories in a studio for their kids.
In a partnership with Storytime Soldiers and Spotify, Google will aim to deliver personal bedtime stories to faraway kids facilitated through Google Assistant. Google Assistant also has specific voice profiles, so when the kid asks for a bedtime story, it will give them the one from their faraway parent.
