The Conundrum

There are 300 million vision-impaired people in the world, with 2 million of them being in the UK. The vast majority of advertising is inaccessible to vision-impaired people.

What we gonna do?

Let’s make advertising accessible by bringing audio description to ads. Audio description has been around for 40 years and it still hasn’t been introduced to advertising on any major scale.

The True Vision of Beauty

To kick off the introduction of audio described ads, Dove will create a campaign on the True Vision of Beauty on Visual Impairment Awareness Day and release an advert on the true vision of beauty which doesn’t make sense unless you turn on the audio description.

Once turned on, you will be able to hear visually impaired women describing their vision of beauty.
